Hi i have a question please...my friend has a credit card debt and loan around $60000.00 and now she is?
going back to china and never returning to the usa cause of some immigration issue is it gonna be a problem?is she going to go to jail or something?
The Answer : They don't throw people in prison for debts in this country, unless they can prove fraud. Did your friend take out a loan with the intent of not paying it? I don't think so.......If she comes back to this country they will be able to attempt to collect. In America, credit card companies loan lots of money to people who they know can't really afford to pay them back. So they get lots of defaulted loans. And there are millions of people who enjoy seeing their rates increased to help cover these losses. Meanwhile, the banking industry enjoys record profits in the billions of dollars!
