Answers : If you were in Manitoba, you wouldn't, period. A broker's licence is necessary, and it is only issued after a qualifying course and exam. I don't know why anybody would want to buy any kind of insurance from somebody that didn't know what the heck insurance was all about.

Answer # 2 : good luck-commison?...sorry but that's funny cause most of us out here need a steady paycheck

Answer # 3 : Is this some kind of joke. commission! your only hope would be some very hard up students and even then i dont think youd have any luck

Answer # 4 : Word of mouth is always the best method. Announce to your local professional organization that you are looking to hire a few sales reps.Advertise the positives of such a job: flexible schedule, unlimited earning potential (beautiful thing about sales is that some sales reps make more than their boss...which makes their boss very happy).product training, advancement opportunities, paid days off (true commission sales guys will get a kick out of this one)

Answer # 5 : Most P&C sub-producers are looking for a combo of base plus commission. If you can't afford to provide a base, be prepared to give a higher percent of commission. This should also include some form of renewals. Work up a realistic chart of what a sub-producer could be earning within a few years. Be truthful!
