Which states have anti-deficiency statutes in place?
Can anyone tell me which states have anti-deficiency laws in place? These laws prevent lenders from suing homeowners for losses on a home after foreclosure.
The Answer : Alaska is limited, Arizona, California on residential only, North Dakota is limited, Oregon only as to nonjudicial only and Texas is limited. The rest can go after your first born.
